Indian Psychiatric Society Andhra Pradesh State Branch is an association of mental health Professionals residing or working in the state of Andhra Pradesh which is a branch of the parent body Indian Psychiatric Society. It is formed under the Zonal Branch Indian Psychiatric society South zonal branch. It was formed in the year 1981. Its main objectives are to contribute to the overall development of mental health services in the state of Andhra Pradesh. To fulfill its objectives it organizes one Annual conference every year in the month of July and one Continuing Medical Education Program every year in the month of February. To promote Psychiatry among the medical students, it conducts quiz competition.
